Privacy policy
This policy describes the site configuration checked on 14 October 2026. Four third parties can act on a page view: Adsterra, which serves the two ad placements and whose scripts are appended only after you accept; the Google Analytics 4 tag and the Microsoft Clarity tag, which start denied; and YouTube, only after a click. No advertising script is in the page HTML.
Evidence and limits
The review checks initial loads, rejection, acceptance, and a video click separately. Fonts and images are served from this site. Clicking Accept raises the analytics consent signals for the GA4 and Clarity tags described below and lets the Adsterra placements load; before that answer the page requests neither an ad nor a recording script. The ad unit ids, the Adsterra publisher id, and the ads.txt seller line were read from the Adsterra publisher dashboard on 14 October 2026.
Hosting and contact messages
Cloudflare is the configured hosting and security provider for deployment. It can process IP addresses, request URLs, browser information, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Its infrastructure processing is different from browser analytics; Cloudflare Web Analytics is not enabled in the site code.
Contact mail to [email protected] passes through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Gmail mailbox operated by this site. Cloudflare and Google process the sender address, message, and attachments to forward and deliver that mail. Do not send account passwords or sensitive documents. We use messages to respond to corrections and privacy requests, not to build advertising profiles.
We retain correspondence only as needed to answer and document your request; provider backups and security logs follow their own retention policies. You can request deletion through the contact address.
Optional YouTube playback
No YouTube iframe or remote thumbnail loads before you press Play video. That separate click requests the selected external player, even if you rejected optional site tracking. The player uses www.youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube privacy-enhanced mode; this reduces pre-play cookie use, but is not a promise of anonymous playback.
After that click, Google can receive your IP address, browser information, referring site, and playback activity. The player may contact youtube-nocookie.com and related Google services, including youtube.com, googlevideo.com, ytimg.com, ggpht.com, google.com, gstatic.com, googleapis.com, and doubleclick.net. Network requests depend on the video and your browser. Google controls player storage and retention under its privacy policy.
You can avoid that processing by not loading videos. Reject and Cookie settings control site tracking preferences; they do not undo a video request you made. Reloading the page removes the player and returns the local facade.
Audience analytics
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is the traffic-analytics product on this site, with measurement ID G-FFMC2YYGWB. The tag itself loads from www.googletagmanager.com on every page, and it reports to *.google-analytics.com. Consent Mode v2 defaults are queued in a first-party script before that tag configuration: ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage all start denied, and ads_data_redaction is enabled.
Until you press Accept the tag runs in that denied, cookieless state — it writes no analytics cookie and reports only cookieless, aggregated measurement pings to Google. Accept raises analytics_storage to granted, which lets Google write its _ga and _ga_* cookies and attribute your page views to one session; Reject keeps the denied state. ad_storage stays denied either way, so the tag cannot build an advertising or remarketing audience. Reopen Cookie settings in the page footer at any time to change the choice.
Google receives your IP address, browser information, and the pages you open in order to provide the measurement, and retains it under its own policy (see the sources below). Measurement data in this GA4 property is also kept for a limited retention period configured for the property.
Microsoft Clarity (project yxkz0wecj3) is the heatmap and session-replay product on this site. Its snippet loads from www.clarity.ms, it pulls its library from scripts.clarity.ms, and it reports to *.clarity.ms. Clarity's own Consent Mode is queued before that tag starts, with ad_Storage and analytics_Storage denied, so until you press Accept Clarity writes no _clck or _clsk cookie on silverpines.top and treats each page view as an unrelated visit. Accept raises both signals, which lets Clarity join page views into one recording and heatmap; Reject keeps them denied. Clarity is a recording product, so treat any text you type into a page as potentially recorded and do not enter personal data.
Advertising (Adsterra)
Adsterra is the only advertising network on this site. It serves two placements: a Native Banner (ad unit 31726501) in the content column, and a fixed Social Bar (ad unit 31726502) along the bottom of the viewport. Both invoker scripts come from the Adsterra script host bicea.org, and neither is in the page HTML: a loader on this site appends them only after you press Accept. Reject, Global Privacy Control, or a blocked loader means bicea.org is never requested. Withdrawing the choice with Cookie settings stops later page views from injecting them; a script that has already started on the current page is not torn out of it.
Once an Adsterra script runs, it may serve creatives chosen by Adsterra's ad exchange, receive your IP address, browser information, and the page you are on, and store what it needs to serve and bill those ads on its own systems. Adult ads are switched off for this website in the Adsterra dashboard, so erotic creatives are excluded. This site publishes no AdSense tag and no second ad network.
You can avoid ad processing by choosing Reject, or by blocking bicea.org. Opt out of interest-based advertising generally through the industry pages listed in the sources below; that choice is registered with the participating ad companies, not with this site.
Cookie preferences
The localStorage key sp_consent_v1 holds choice (granted or denied) and at (the selection timestamp). It lasts 180 days. After expiration we ask again. The key is necessary to remember your preference and is not sent to an advertising service. Cookie settings in every page footer lets you change the choice.
Closing the fixed Social Bar is remembered separately in localStorage under sp_socialbar_dismissed (value 1, kept until you clear it), so the bar does not come back on a later visit. That key is a user-interface preference stored on your device and read only on this domain.
Consent Mode v2 starts with ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization denied, and ads_data_redaction is enabled. Microsoft Clarity's consent signal starts with ad_Storage and analytics_Storage denied as well. Acceptance updates both queues and lets the Adsterra loader append its two scripts; before that answer the page loads no advertising script and writes no analytics or advertising cookie of its own.
After Accept, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra can each store their own first-party identifiers on silverpines.top to tell one visit from another, join page views into one Clarity recording, or serve and bill an ad. That storage lives on their systems under their own policies and retention periods, and the legal basis for it is your consent. This site itself writes only the two keys named above. We do not claim a fixed list of Adsterra, Clarity or Google cookie names: ad-server storage, Clarity storage and Analytics storage depend on what the visitor does, browser settings, and vendor changes.
Global Privacy Control overrides an existing acceptance and keeps optional tracking denied, including the ad scripts. We do not interpret Do Not Track as a separate consent choice. If localStorage is unavailable, the site still works and does not enable tracking.
- Google Analytics / GA4: installed (measurement ID G-FFMC2YYGWB), consent-gated as described above.
- Microsoft Clarity: installed (project yxkz0wecj3), consent-gated as described above.
- Adsterra: installed — Native Banner (ad unit 31726501) and Social Bar (ad unit 31726502) on Adsterra website id 6122588, publisher id 3403020, adult ads switched off. Both scripts are appended only after you accept.
- Google AdSense: not installed.
- ads.txt on this domain declares one seller: adsterra.com, 3403020, DIRECT. The publisher id is the value the Adsterra dashboard reports for this account, not a guess.
Privacy requests
Email [email protected] to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or to object to processing. Tell us which message or data you mean; do not include unnecessary identity documents. Rights and the available complaint authority depend on your jurisdiction.
This independent game guide is not directed at children under 13 and does not offer accounts, newsletter registration, comment profiles, or any audience list of its own. The game itself contains mature horror content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Necessary site delivery and requested correspondence support operating the site and answering you. Analytics and advertising run only under the consent signals described above, and any further optional integration would require an affirmative choice before it is added. Policy changes are dated here.
Questions
Does accepting cookies start advertising?
Accept is what allows the two Adsterra placements on this site to load; before that answer no ad script is requested from bicea.org and no ad cookie is written. The GA4 and Clarity tags are in the page from the start but run with their storage denied until you accept. Reject keeps all three off, and Global Privacy Control is stored as a rejection.
How do I change my choice?
Use Cookie settings in the footer, or delete the sp_consent_v1 key. Choosing Reject stops later page views from injecting the Adsterra scripts; delete sp_socialbar_dismissed as well if you want the fixed Social Bar to be able to appear again after Accept.
