Silver Pines story explained
Silver Pines follows Red Walker's search for missing musician Eddie Velvet. Spoilers below cover the three reported ending routes. The official premise, game text reported by a third party and player interpretation are different kinds of evidence.
Evidence and limits
I checked the official premise and the specific NPC Tips story and endings pages on 14 October 2026. We did not independently inspect the game files or play the final scenes, so route details are attributed to those guides.
Reported ending choices
NPC Tips reports three named endings: Leave, Live and Rest. Its route guide says killing Eddie leads to Leave, sparing him and burning all required Mementos leads to Live, and sparing him and using two Gold Rings at the Rabbit Hole leads to Rest. The button labeled Leave spares Eddie; it does not itself unlock the Leave ending.
- Leave: choose to kill Eddie, then follow the reported exit sequence.
- Live: spare Eddie and satisfy the Memento/furnace route.
- Rest: spare Eddie and complete the two-ring route; the guide reports an additional fight.
What do the endings mean?
The third-party story guide distinguishes dialogue and documents from player readings about identity, guilt and the accident. Those readings are not official explanations or a confirmed literal timeline. This page does not declare one symbolic reading canon; the endings guide covers the reported unlock steps separately.
Questions
What does the Silver Pines ending mean?
Leave, Live and Rest use different reported routes involving Eddie, Mementos and Gold Rings. NPC Tips discusses player readings about guilt and identity, but those interpretations are not a confirmed explanation from the developer.
